60th Wedding Anniversary Cake
I made this cake for my Zumba instructor's mother and father in law. They were celebrating their 60th anniversary and were getting married in a church for the very first time. 60 years ago they could not afford an appropriate wedding so this was their opportunity to have the wedding they always wanted.
This was a 3 tier almond pound cake with chocolate ganache. The entire cake was covered in fondant decorated with a red ribbon and 2 dozen fresh red roses.

Purple Wedding Bliss
This was a 6" and 8" red velvet square wedding cake with cream cheese filling. I made this cake for my neighbor's brother and wife. Their theme was different shades of purple and black. I covered the entire cake with fondant and piped royal icing polka-dots throughout the cake. The bows were 2.5 inches wide and were painted over with a silver lustre. The couple chose to do a fresh flower topper which I arranged on top of a ball of fondant.
I really enjoyed creating this cake and I was really happy the bride and groom enjoyed the outcome.
