Tiffany Sweet 16

This was a cupcake tower I made for a joint sweet 16 party that was held at the Yorba Linda Country Club.

The cake was a 6" Tiffany Box with a chain link bracelet on top with the celebrants names on top.  There were 2 types of cupcakes on the tower.  The Tiffany blue cupcakes where chocolate with rich vanilla buttercream and white chocolate bows on top.  The white cupcakes where red velvet with cream cheese icing topped with Tiffany blue sprinkles.

Vintage Bling

This cake was a made for a little girl named Bella who was turning 4. She loves thing very Blingy and she is a little diva in the making.  Her mom gave me the rhinestone trim and the rhinestone monogram for the top of the cake.  She also provided me with some pre-made Anemones.  I did however, have to make an extra 7 or so Anemones to fill the gaps on the cake.  The rhinestone boarder did not go all the way around the cake and I had to improvise to fill the gap.

This cake was a 12" round and about 6 to 7 inches high.  The cake was a chocolate cake with raspberry preserve filling coated with a white chocolate butter cream.  The entire cake was quilted all around with the accessories added to it.

Lavender Roses

This was for my cousin's co-worker's Birthday.  She just wanted to give her a personal cake to celebrate her special day at work.

This was a 6" cake covered in fondant with lavender roses on top and some appliques on the side to give it a classic look.

Black and Red Party

I made these cupcakes for a red  & black themed 40th Birthday Party.  For the standard cupcakes I made 1 dozen red velvet cupcakes with cream cheese icing and topped them with black scalloped circles with red fondant roses. The other dozen was chocolate cupcakes with chocolate buttercream topped with white scalloped circles with red cherry blossoms.  The mini cupcakes where the same flavors and simply had a red and black fondant cherry blossoms on top.

The Hot Pink Zebra

This was another cake I made for my grade school friend.  Her sister and father were celebrating their 40th and 70th Birthdays together.  The party was held at Cal Poly, Pomona and the theme of the party was zebra print, hot pink, and silver.

This was a 10" cake covered in zebra print with a fondant bow on top and pearl trim for the border.  I free handed the zebra pattern with black fondant and used a mold to make the pearl border.  The zebra print was also tied into her father's surprise lady cake with the zebra bikini.

Shop 'til you drop!

My Zumba instructor asked me to make this cake for her daughter, friend, and friend's daughter who were all having a joint birthday party.  The one thing all three ladies had in common was they all loved to shop.

This was a 14" round cake covered in fondant.  The base was trimmed with black and white polk-a-dot ribbon attached with royal icing.  All the figures on top of the cake where molded out of fondant including the sofa and lady on top. The bags around the sofa where various shopping bags accumulated from a long day of shopping.

Harajuku Lover

This cake was a surprise for my cousin's 30th Birthday.  She is a true, "Harajuku Lover" so I thought this cake would be perfect for her.

I made the girl with fondant using a round cutter for her face and just cutting out the shape of her bangs by hand.  I used edible maker to draw her eyes and cut out hearts for her mouth and hair accents.

The side of the cake was decorated by using a diamond cutter and round cutter all the way around the entire cake, and I used a silicon pearl mold to make the trim around the base of the cake.

Anyone for high tea?

My cousin ask me to make this cake for a bridal shower that she was throwing for one of her friends.  The shower was at Tudor House in Santa Monica which is a British tea house.  I made this as a topper cake along with 2 dozen cupcakes for a cupcake tower.

This was a 6" round cake covered in white fondant.   I draped the flowers like a rainbow around the cake using small, medium, and large sized flowers.  The pearl boarder was made using a 14mm pearl mold. The flowers were made just using Wilton flower cutters and the leaves were formed by using an impression mold.
